Hadith Commentary:
Allah Ta'ala granted the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) many abilities; he was an expert in the arts of war and an excellent military commander.
A consummate general uses his army's war equipment with great caution.
On this occasion, the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) issued military instructions that when the enemy gathers in crowds, shoot arrows with care.
Do not waste arrows by shooting them on land or sea where they would be lost, as this would not harm the enemy, nor should you shoot arrows hastily so that they miss their target.
Even today, the principle of warfare, which is accepted throughout the world, is that one's weapons and ammunition should not be wasted uselessly.
And Allah knows best.
It should be noted that in this section, the details related to Badr are being discussed.
