Narrated `Aisha: I did not feel jealous of any of the wives of the Prophet as much as I did of Khadija though I did not see her, but the Prophet used to mention her very often, and when ever he slaughtered a sheep, he would cut its parts and send them to the women friends of Khadija. When I sometimes said to him, "(You treat Khadija in such a way) as if there is no woman on earth except Khadija," he would say, "Khadija was such-and-such, and from her I had children."

Hadith Commentary:
From this it is understood that in the sight of the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam), the status of Umm al-Mu’minin, Lady Khadijah (radi Allahu anha), was extremely high. In reality, she was the foremost benefactress of Islam and the Prophet of Islam (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam). The recompense for her favors can only be given to her by Allah.
Radi Allahu anha wa ardaha.

Hadith Commentary:
➊
The meaning of "ghayrah" (protective jealousy) here is that a wife suspects that her husband loves another of his wives more than her.
➋
Aishah (radi Allahu anha) used to feel ghayrah regarding Khadijah (radi Allahu anha) because the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) would frequently remember her.
In the hadith, the repetition of "wa kanat, wa kanat" does not literally indicate duality; rather, with each repetition, the qualities and virtues of Khadijah (radi Allahu anha) are intended—meaning she was virtuous, intelligent, devoted in service, and dutiful, etc. Furthermore, the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) would continue to praise her and supplicate to Allah for her forgiveness. These were the reasons why Sayyidah Aishah (radi Allahu anha) used to feel ghayrah.
➌
Upon being asked by some, the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) replied that Khadijah (radi Allahu anha) believed in me when people disbelieved in me.
She affirmed my truthfulness when people denied me.
She supported me with her wealth when people deprived me, and Allah, the Exalted, granted me children through her while I did not have children from any other wife.
It should be noted that Zaynab (radi Allahu anha), Ruqayyah (radi Allahu anha), Umm Kulthum (radi Allahu anha), Fatimah (radi Allahu anha), Abdullah (radi Allahu anhu), and Qasim (radi Allahu anhu) were all from the pure womb of Khadijah (radi Allahu anha); only your beloved son Ibrahim (radi Allahu anhu) was born from your slave woman Maria al-Qibtiyyah (radi Allahu anha).
Khadijah (radi Allahu anha) is the only woman that, when she believed, there was no house of Islam on the entire earth except hers.
It is mentioned in the hadith:
“She will be given a house of pearls in Paradise.”
This too is from the chapter of correspondence (bab al-mushakalah), meaning the recompense for an action is of the same kind as the action itself, even if it is of a much higher and nobler degree.
In any case, the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) held the first lady (Khadijah radi Allahu anha) in great esteem; this is why he did not marry any other woman during her lifetime.

Hadith Commentary: Benefits and Issues: (1)
Faith (iman) is connected to the heart and soul. Therefore, a person cannot say anything about it with certainty and definitiveness. But Islam is related to outward actions, which a person observes. Therefore, do not express obedience and compliance merely on the basis of outward actions. However, Sa’d radi Allahu anhu was dominated by the view that those who are superior in faith and conviction have a prior right in gifts, so he could not understand the purpose of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam and kept repeating his own words.
(2)
Some people are new to Islam, and the reality of Islam has not yet become deeply rooted in their hearts. They think that by accepting Islam, they will be able to obtain worldly wealth and riches. Therefore, for the sake of winning their hearts, it is appropriate to give them something until they attain the true reality of Islam. And those whose faith and belief have become firmly established in their hearts do not attach any importance to worldly wealth and riches, so that if they are deprived of it, there would be no weakness in their faith and conviction, nor—Allah forbid—would they turn away from the religion and become fuel for the Fire. Therefore, they are considered as one’s own and are overlooked, because there is no risk of ill belief or suspicion regarding them.
