Narrated Usama bin Zaid: That the Prophet used to take him (i.e. Usama) and Al-Hassan (in his lap) and say: "O Allah! Love them, as I love them."

Hadith Commentary:

In one narration, it is mentioned that the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) would seat Usamah ibn Zayd (radi Allahu anhu) on one of his thighs and al-Hasan ibn Ali (radi Allahu anhu) on the other, then he would embrace them both and say:
“O Allah! I show much affection to them, so You also show mercy and kindness to them.”
(Sahih al-Bukhari, al-Adab, Hadith: 6003)

From this hadith, the virtue of Usamah ibn Zayd (radi Allahu anhu) is established, as the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) would supplicate abundantly for him.
