Narrated Abu Juhaifa: I saw the Prophet, and Al-Hasan resembled him.

Hadith Commentary:
1.
It is narrated from Anas radi Allahu anhu that Husayn radi Allahu anhu resembled the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam.
(Sahih al-Bukhari, Virtues of the Companions of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, Hadith: 3748)
There is no contradiction between these two narrations; it is possible that the aspects of resemblance were different.
In one narration of Tirmidhi, it is stated that in the upper half of the body—that is, the head, face, and chest—Hasan radi Allahu anhu resembled the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, and in the lower half—that is, the legs, feet, and gait—Husayn radi Allahu anhu resembled him. In short, both princes were the complete image of the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam.
(Jami‘ al-Tirmidhi, Virtues, Hadith: 3779 and Fath al-Bari: 7/123)
In addition to them, Ja‘far ibn Abi Talib, Qutham ibn ‘Abbas, Abu Sufyan ibn Harith, and Sa’ib ibn ‘Amir radi Allahu anhum also resembled the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam.
(‘Umdat al-Qari: 11/291)
This hadith also refutes the Shia who consider Abu Bakr radi Allahu anhu to be an enemy and opponent of the Ahl al-Bayt, because this incident occurred after the passing of the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam; no sensible person can even imagine such a thing.
As long as Abu Bakr al-Siddiq radi Allahu anhu was alive,
he remained a well-wisher and devoted supporter of the noble family and descendants of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, and he had great love for them.

Hadith Commentary:

In this hadith, there is mention of the white, silvery hair of the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam). Anas (radi Allahu anhu) states that at the time of the Messenger of Allah’s (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) passing, there were not even twenty white hairs in his head and beard.
(Sahih al-Bukhari, al-Manaqib, Hadith: 3547)
In another narration, it is mentioned that Allah, the Exalted, protected the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) from the defect of old age; there were only seventeen or eighteen white hairs in his blessed head.
(Musnad Ahmad: 3/254)
Once, Jabir bin Samurah (radi Allahu anhu) was asked whether the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) had white hair in his blessed head. He replied, “No, but there were a few white hairs in his parting, and even those were not noticeable when he applied oil, as the shine of the oil would conceal the whiteness of the hair.”
(Shama’il al-Tirmidhi, p. 53)

The immediate successor and caliph of the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam), Abu Bakr al-Siddiq (radi Allahu anhu), had announced that whoever the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) had made a promise to, should inform us so that we may fulfill it.
Abu Juhaifah (radi Allahu anhu) says that upon my request, he granted us thirteen she-camels.
