Regarding household snakes, there is a narration in Muslim that the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) instructed that they should be warned for three days to leave our house, and if they still do not leave, then kill them. Among snakes, the black cobra is the worst.
A person can die instantly from its venom.
It is said that the lifespan of a snake is a thousand years.
Every year, it sheds its skin once.

Hadith Commentary:
1.
By "dhu tufyatein" is meant that snake which has two black and white spots on its head, or two lines on its back.
And "abtari" is that snake whose tail is short, as if it is cut.
Both of these are mischievous snakes.
Their eyes contain such potent venom that if a pregnant woman’s eyes meet theirs, her pregnancy is miscarried.
And when their eyes meet a human’s eyes, the person becomes blind.

2.
(Dhawat al-buyut)
These are the white snakes that live in houses.
They do not harm anyone.
They are also called "awamir."

3.
Among snakes, there is a black cobra.
A person dies instantly from its bite.
Regarding the snakes that live in houses, the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) said:
“Warn them for three days, that is, tell them to leave the house.
After this period, if they appear, then kill them, for they are devils.”
(Sahih Muslim, Kitab al-Salam, Hadith: 5839(2236))
There is no need to warn the snakes of the wilderness, because the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) said:
“There are five harmful animals; kill them wherever you find them, whether in the Haram or outside it.”
Among them is the snake.
(Sahih Muslim, Kitab al-Hajj, Hadith: 2861(1198))
