Hadith Commentary:
It is evident from this hadith that the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) provided the Mujahideen of Islam with military training in the field of Badr and also taught them the rules of warfare and jihad.
In reality, the commander of an army should indeed be such that he is able to control the people in every way (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam).

Hadith Commentary:
That is, do not shoot all your arrows hastily, whether they hit or not, as this would be wasting the arrows. Worthy generals are those who have the equipment of their army expended in a very cautious manner. The Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) was also a great military commander and an expert in the arts of warfare in this regard. The meaning of "idha akthabukum" in this hadith, according to the narrator, is that many (enemies) come and appear in the form of a crowd. Some have said that in the lexicon, "kathb" means to come near, that is, until they come near you, keep your arrows preserved so that they may be useful at the right time and not be wasted in vain. Even today, this is the principle that is accepted throughout the world.

Benefit:
In this hadith, one issue pertains to supplication (du'a): that supplication should be comprehensive in every respect, and making supplication for the benefit of specific individuals is a limited supplication. One should frequently supplicate for salvation from the punishment of Hell and the punishment of the grave, and this is comprehensive in every respect.
The second issue mentioned in this hadith is that monkeys and pigs are an independent creation, which have existed since long ago; it is not correct to consider them as the corrupted people of Bani Isra'il. Yes, those people were also transformed into the form of monkeys and pigs, but they died after three days.
