The Book of Jihad (Fighting For Allah’S Cause)
بَابُ الشَّهَادَةُ سَبْعٌ سِوَى الْقَتْلِ:
(30) Chapter. There are seven martyrs other than those who are killed in Jihad (i.e., eight).
Hadith 2830
حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَاصِمٌ ، عَنْ حَفْصَةَ بِنْتِ سِيرِينَ ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " الطَّاعُونُ شَهَادَةٌ لِكُلِّ مُسْلِمٍ " .
Narrated Anas bin Malik: The Prophet said, "Plague is the cause of martyrdom of every Muslim (who dies because of it).
