And Allah the Exalted said (in Surah An-Nisa): "Indeed, Allah commands you to render trusts to whom they are due. And when you judge between people, judge with justice. Excellent is that which Allah instructs you. Indeed, Allah is ever Hearing and Seeing."
Narrated Abu Dhar: Once, while I was in the company of the Prophet, he saw the mountain of Uhud and said, "I would not like to have this mountain turned into gold for me unless nothing of it, not even a single Dinar remains of it with me for more than three days (i.e. I will spend all of it in Allah's Cause), except that Dinar which I will keep for repaying debts." Then he said, "Those who are rich in this world would have little reward in the Hereafter except those who spend their money here and there (in Allah's Cause), and they are few in number." Then he ordered me to stay at my place and went not far away. I heard a voice and intended to go to him but I remembered his order, "Stay at your place till I return." On his return I said, "O Allah's Apostle! (What was) that noise which I heard?" He said, "Did you hear anything?" I said, "Yes." He said, "Gabriel came and said to me, 'Whoever amongst your followers dies, worshipping none along with Allah, will enter Paradise.' " I said, "Even if he did such-and-such things (i.e. even if he stole or committed illegal sexual intercourse)" He said, "Yes."

Hadith Commentary:
(1)
From this hadith, we learn of the generosity and magnanimity of the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam), as he wished for the mountain of Uhud to be turned into gold so that he could distribute it among the people within three days. His care for the poor is described here, and it is also evident that the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) was extremely sensitive regarding the matter of repaying debts. He said:
"After distributing, only as much gold should remain with me as would suffice to repay a debt."
(2)
From this hadith, it is understood that repaying debts takes precedence over giving charity and alms, and that a person should always be concerned about fulfilling this obligation.

Hadith Commentary:
The doctrine of Ahl al-Sunnah regarding a sinful believer who dies without repentance is that his case is subject to Allah’s will: if He wills, He may forgive his sins and admit him to Paradise without punishment, or He may punish him for some time and then forgive him. However, the Murji’ah say that as long as a person is a believer, no sin will harm him. The Mu‘tazilah say that if he dies without repentance, he will remain in Hell forever.
Both of these views are incorrect, and only the doctrine of Ahl al-Sunnah is correct.
For the believing Muslim, forgiveness is destined in any case.
O Allah! By Your forgiveness, honor us as well.

Hadith Commentary:
The Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) chose poverty and hardship for himself in this world. Allah, the Exalted, granted him abundant contentment, patience, and reliance (tawakkul), freeing him from the desire for wealth. Therefore, it is evident that the state of poverty and deprivation in which the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) lived was one he himself preferred for himself and requested from Allah, the Exalted, for himself.

(1)
DAGHALUN:
Corruption and disorder,
Treachery,
Deceit.
(2)
ZAJARAHU:
He rebuked,
He scolded.
Benefits and Issues:
In that era, the night was a time and occasion of darkness and gloom,
in which the risk of disorder and corruption was greater. So, if permission is given to go out at night, then, all the more so, permission will be given to go out during the day.
