The Book of Sales (Bargains)
بَابُ مَنْ كَرِهَ أَنْ يَبِيعَ حَاضِرٌ لِبَادٍ بِأَجْرٍ:
(69) Chapter. Whoever hated that an urban person should sell the goods of a desert dweller and charge him for that.
Hadith 2159
حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ صَبَّاحٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الْحَنَفِيُّ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَرَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، قَالَ : " نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ يَبِيعَ حَاضِرٌ لِبَادٍ " ، وَبِهِ قَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ .
Narrated `Abdullah bin `Umar: Allah's Apostle forbade the selling of the goods of a desert dweller by a town person.
