The Book of Wudu (Ablution)
بَابُ الْغُسْلِ وَالْوُضُوءِ فِي الْمِخْضَبِ وَالْقَدَحِ وَالْخَشَبِ وَالْحِجَارَةِ:
(45) Chapter. To take a bath or perform ablution from a Mikhdab (utensil), a tumbler, or a wooden or stone pot.
Hadith 196
حَدَّثَنَا

بُرَيْدٍ
، عَنْ
أَبِي بُرْدَةَ
، عَنْ
أَبِي مُوسَى
، " أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ دَعَا بِقَدَحٍ فِيهِ مَاءٌ فَغَسَلَ يَدَيْهِ وَوَجْهَهُ فِيهِ وَمَجَّ فِيهِ " .
Narrated Abu Musa: Once the Prophet asked for a tumbler containing water. He washed his hands and face in it and also threw a mouthful of water in it.
