باب ما جاء في رد السرايا على أهل العسكر
Returning detachments to the main army
Hadith 1073
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الصَّغَانِيُّ ، قَالَ : ثنا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ : ثني هُشَيْمٌ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " الْمُسْلِمُونَ تَتَكَافَأُ دِمَاؤُهُمْ ، وَيَسْعَى بِذِمَّتِهِمْ أَدْنَاهُمْ ، وَيُجِيرُ عَلَيْهِمْ أَقْصَاهُمْ ، وَهُمْ يَدٌ عَلَى مَنْ سِوَاهُمْ ، يَرُدُّ مُشِدُّهُمْ عَلَى مُضْعِفِهِمْ وَمُتَسَرِّيهِمْ عَلَى قَاعِدِهِمْ ، لا يُقْتَلُ مُؤْمِنٌ بِكَافِرٍ وَلا ذُو عَهْدٍ فِي عَهْدِهِ " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr bin al-As (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The blood (compensation) of Muslims is equal, even an ordinary person among them can grant protection, likewise, a distant resident can grant refuge in the presence of a nearby resident. Muslims should help each other against opponents. Those whose mounts are strong should stay with those whose mounts are weak, and if a military detachment separates from the main army for a mission, it should include its main army in the spoils of war. No believer should be killed in exchange for a disbeliever, nor should a dhimmi be killed during the period of his treaty.
