باب بدء إحلال الغنائم
Beginning of permissibility of war booty
Hadith 1071
حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ ، قَالَ : أنا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لَمْ تَحِلَّ الْغَنَائِمُ لِقَوْمٍ سُودِ الرُّءُوسِ قَبْلَكُمْ ، كَانَتْ تَنْزِلُ نَارٌ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ فَتَأْكُلُهَا " قَالَ : فَلَمَّا كَانَ يَوْمَ بَدْرٍ أَسْرَعَ النَّاسُ فِي الْغَنَائِمِ ، فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ : لَوْلا كِتَابٌ مِنَ اللَّهِ سَبَقَ لَمَسَّكُمْ فِيمَا أَخَذْتُمْ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌ سورة الأنفال آية 68 .
Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Spoils of war were not made lawful for any nation with black hair before you; fire used to descend from the sky and consume them. On the Day of Badr, when people began to hastily gather the spoils of war, Allah the Exalted revealed this verse: “Had it not been for a decree from Allah that preceded, a great punishment would have touched you for what you took.” (Al-Anfal: 68) (If Allah had not already decreed it, a great punishment would have afflicted you because of what you acquired.)
