Hadith 757
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى ، قَالَ : ثنا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُوسَى ، عَنْ إِسْرَائِيلَ ، عَنْ سِمَاكٍ ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا ، ح قَالَ وَثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ ، قَالَ : ثنا إِسْرَائِيلُ ، قَالَ : ثنا سِمَاكُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا ، قَالَ : أَسْلَمَتِ امْرَأَةٌ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَتَزَوَّجَتْ ، فَجَاءَ زَوْجُهَا إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَقَالَ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، إِنِّي قَدْ أَسْلَمْتُ مَعَهَا وَعَلِمْتُ بِإِسْلامِي ، قَالَ : " فَنَزَعَهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ زَوْجِهَا الآخَرِ وَرَدَّهَا إِلَى زَوْجِهَا " .
Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that during the time of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), a woman accepted Islam and got married. Her (first) husband came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: O Messenger of Allah! I accepted Islam along with her, and she also knew about my acceptance of Islam (yet she married someone else). The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) took her from the second husband and returned her to the first husband.
