But since you did not show us any hospitality, we will not treat him without agreeing on a wage." So they allotted a flock of sheep for them. One of us began to recite Surah Al-Fatihah over him. When we came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), we mentioned this to him, and he said, "How did you know that it is a Surah for ruqyah (spiritual healing)?"
Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that during the time of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), there was an Ansari man who used to trade, but his speech was weak. The people of his tribe came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: "O Messenger of Allah! Impose a restriction on such-and-such person, because he does trade, but his speech is weak." The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) called him and forbade him from selling. He said: "O Messenger of Allah! I cannot refrain from selling." So the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "If you cannot refrain, then say like this: (The deal) will be cash and there will be no deception."
Hadith 569
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Who will buy this blanket and bowl?” A man said: “O Messenger of Allah! I will buy both these things for one dirham.” He said: “Who will give more than a dirham?” The people remained silent. The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) again said: “Who will give more than a dirham?” A man said: “O Messenger of Allah! I will buy both these things for two dirhams.” He said: “They are yours.”
Hadith 570
Zaid bin Aslam (may Allah have mercy on him) says that I heard from a man named Shahr, who was a trader. He asked Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) about auction sales (bidding). He (may Allah be pleased with them both) replied: "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade a man from making a deal over another's deal until he leaves it. Spoils of war and inheritances are exceptions to this."
Hadith 571
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that it has been prohibited to go ahead and buy goods from caravan people (before they reach the market). If someone goes ahead and buys goods from the caravan people, then after coming to the market, the seller has the option (to annul the sale).
