Hadith 326
Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that a man came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: "Because of so-and-so, I do not attend the Fajr congregation, as he prolongs the recitation." I have never seen you so angry during admonition as I saw you that day. He said: "O people! Some of you make others dislike (the prayer). Whoever leads the prayer should make it short, for behind him are the weak, the elderly, and those with needs."

Sayyiduna Jabir narrates that Sayyiduna Mu'adh (may Allah be pleased with him) used to perform the 'Isha prayer with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), then return and lead us in prayer. One night, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) delayed the prayer, so Sayyiduna Mu'adh (may Allah be pleased with him) came and began reciting Surah Al-Baqarah. Seeing this, a man left the congregation, performed his prayer separately, and departed. When the people finished the prayer, they said to him: O so-and-so! You have become a hypocrite. He replied: I have not become a hypocrite, but I will go and inform the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). So he went to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and said: Mu'adh (may Allah be pleased with him) performs the prayer with you, then returns and leads us in prayer. Last night, you delayed the prayer, so he came and began reciting Surah Al-Baqarah. When I saw this, I prayed separately, because we irrigate with camels and work hard with our hands. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said (to Mu'adh): Are you putting people to trial? Recite such-and-such surahs. In the narration of Abu Az-Zubair, it is mentioned: Recite Surah Al-A'la, Surah Al-Ghashiyah, and Surah Al-Lail, etc.
Hadith 328
Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) to lead the prayer, so the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was sitting in front of Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him), and Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) was praying behind him. In Abu Dawood, the wording is as follows: Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) was in front.

When the safeguarding of prayers was mentioned to Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), she said: I saw the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), he was being brought to the mosque supported by two men, such that his blessed feet were dragging on the ground. Thus, he was brought to Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him), who was leading the people in prayer. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was seated to the left of Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him). Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) was praying following the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and the people were praying following Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him). Abu Muhammad says: Abu Muawiyah has also narrated in the same way that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) came and sat to the left of Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him). In the narration of Abdullah ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both), it is mentioned that Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) was following the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and the people were following Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him).
Hadith 330
Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saw a man praying alone in the mosque, so he said: "Is there anyone who will trade with him and pray along with him?"
Hadith 331
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to say: It is possible that you may meet such people who perform the prayer at an improper time. If you meet them, then perform the prayer at its proper time in your home as you know, then perform the prayer with them as well and make it a voluntary (nafl) prayer.
Hadith 332
Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Do not prevent the female servants of Allah from going to the mosques of Allah, and when they go out, they should go out simply.

Sayyida Umm Waraqah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that when the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) was about to set out for the Battle of Badr, she requested him: "O Messenger of Allah! Let me go with you to the battle. I will treat the sick and bandage the wounded. Perhaps Allah, the Exalted, will grant me martyrdom as well." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Stay in your house; Allah, the Exalted, will grant you the reward of martyrdom." The narrator states that she became known by the name "Shaheedah" (the martyress). The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to visit her on Fridays and would say: "Let us go to Shaheedah." She knew the Qur'an, and she requested the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) for permission to appoint a mu'adhdhin (caller to prayer) in her house so that she could perform prayers, and he granted her permission.
