Hadith 39
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، وَأَبُو جَعْفَرٍ الدَّارِمِيُّ قَالَا: ثَنَا رَوْحُ بْنُ عُبَادَةَ، قَالَ: ثَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ، عَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «إِذَا تَوَضَّأَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيَجْعَلْ فِي أَنْفِهِ مَاءً ثُمَّ لِيَنْتَثِرْ وَمَنِ اسْتَجْمَرَ فَلْيُوتِرْ».
Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When anyone performs ablution, he should rinse his nose with water and expel it, and the one performing istinja should use an odd number of clods.
