باب ما جاء في النحل والهباتWhat is reported about gifts and donations
Hadith 991
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى ، قَالَ : ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، قَالَ : أَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ ، وَحُمَيْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ ، عَنِ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا ، قَالَ : ذَهَبَ بِي أَبِي بَشِيرُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِيُشْهِدَهُ عَلَى نُحْلٍ نَحَلَنِيهِ ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " أَكَلَّ يَلِيك نَحَلْتَ مثل هَذَا ؟ قَالَ : لا ، قَالَ : فَأَرْجِعْهَا " .
Sayyiduna Nu’man bin Bashir (may Allah be pleased with both of them) narrates that my father, Bashir bin Sa’d (may Allah be pleased with him), took me to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) so that he could make him a witness to the gifts he had given me. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: “Have you given these gifts to all your sons?” He replied: “No!” The Prophet said: “Then take it back.”
