Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When any one of you wakes up from sleep, he should not put his hand into (the ablution) water until he has washed it three times, for he does not know where his hand spent the night.
This narration is from Ibn Maqri’, and he has mentioned the word «حيث» once in place of «اين».
