Hadith 868
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى ، قَالَ : ثنا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْكَرِيمِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، أَنَّ أمَّهُ تُخْبِرُ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ دَخَلَ عَلَيْهَا وَقِرْبَةٌ مُعَلَّقَةٌ فَشَرِبَ مِنْ فِي السِّقَاءِ قَائِمًا ، قَالَتْ : فَقُمْتُ إِلَيْهِ فَقَطَعْتُهُ " .
Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that his mother reported: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) came to her and drank water while standing from the mouth of a hanging water-skin. She says: I cut off its mouth while standing (and kept it safe).
