Hadith 849
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ آدَمَ ، قَالَ : ثنا الْفَضْلُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ مُوسَى ، قَالَ : أنا فُضَيْلُ بْنُ غَزْوَانَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي نُعْمٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، قَالَ : قَالَ أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ نَبِيُّ التَّوْبَةِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ قَذَفَ مَمْلُوكًا وَكَانَ ظَالِمًا ، أُقِيمَ عَلَيْهِ الْحَدُّ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ، إِلا أَنْ يَكُونَ كَمَا قَالَ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet of repentance, Sayyiduna Abu al-Qasim (peace and blessings be upon him), said: Whoever falsely accuses a slave, a punishment will be imposed on him on the Day of Resurrection, unless he is truthful in his statement.
