Hadith 837
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى ، قَالَ : ثنا أَبُو سَلَمَةَ ، قَالَ : ثنا أَبَانُ ، قَالَ : ثنا قَتَادَةُ ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، أَنَّ يَهُودِيًّا رَضَخَ رَأْسَ جَارِيَةٍ بِحَجَرٍ ، ثُمَّ أَخَذَ أَوْضَاحًا كَانَ عَلَيْهَا ، فَوَجَدُوهَا وَبِهَا رَمَقٌ فَطَافُوا بِهَا ، أَهَذَا هُوَ ، أَهَذَا هُوَ ؟ حَتَّى دَلَّتْ عَلَى الْيَهُودِيِّ ، فَأَخَذُوهُ فَاعْتَرَفَ ، " فَأَمَرَ بِهِ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَرُضِحَ رَأْسُهُ بِالْحِجَارَةِ " .
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that a Jew crushed the head of a girl with a stone and took off her jewelry. The people caught him, and there was still some life left in her. They took her around (and began asking), "Is this the person? Is this the person (who attacked you)?" until she indicated towards the Jew. So they caught him, and the Jew confessed to the crime. Then, by the order of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), his head was also crushed with a stone.
