باب حد الزاني البكر والثيبPunishment for fornicator, married and unmarried
Hadith 815
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى ، قَالَ : ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، قَالَ : أنا مَعْمَرٌ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلابَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْمُهَلَّبِ ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، أَنَّ امْرَأَةً مِنْ جُهَيْنَةَ اعْتَرَفَتْ عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِالزِّنَا ، فَقَالَتْ : أَنَا حُبْلَى ، فَدَعَا النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَلِيَّهَا ، فَقَالَ : أَحْسِنْ إِلَيْهَا ، فَإِذَا وَضَعَتْ فَأَخْبِرْنِي ، فَفَعَلَ ، فَأَمَرَ بِهَا النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَشُكَّتْ عَلَيْهَا ثِيَابُهَا ، ثُمَّ أَمَرَ بِرَجْمِهَا ، فَرُجِمَتْ ثُمَّ صَلَّى عَلَيْهَا ، فَقَالَ عُمَرُ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، رَجَمْتَهَا ثُمَّ تُصَلِّي عَلَيْهَا ؟ فَقَالَ : " لَقَدْ تَابَتْ تَوْبَةً لَوْ قُسِمَتْ بَيْنَ سَبْعِينَ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ لَوَسِعَتْهُمْ ، وَهَلْ وَجَدَتْ أَفْضَلَ مِنْ أَنْ جَادَتْ لِلَّهِ تَعَالَى بِنَفْسِهَا ؟ " .
Sayyiduna Imran bin Husain (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that a woman from the tribe of Juhaina came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and confessed to committing adultery, saying: I have become pregnant. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) called her guardian and said: Treat her well, and when she gives birth, inform me. So he did as instructed. By the order of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), her clothes were tied firmly around her, then he ordered her to be stoned, and she was stoned. Then he offered her funeral prayer. Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said: O Messenger of Allah! You stoned her and then also offered her funeral prayer? He replied: She has repented with such a repentance that if it were distributed among seventy people of Madinah, it would suffice them all. Have you found anything better than this, that she sacrificed her own life for the sake of Allah?
