Hadith 808
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى ، قَالَ : ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ ، عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ حَمَّادٍ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، عَنِ الأَسْوَدِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " رُفِعَ الْقَلَمُ عَنْ ثَلاثَةٍ : عَنِ النَّائِمِ حَتَّى يَسْتَيْقِظَ ، وَعَنِ الصَّغِيرِ حَتَّى يَكْبُرَ ، وَعَنِ الْمَجْنُونِ حَتَّى يَعْقِلَ " .
Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Three people are exempt from accountability; (that is, not liable) the sleeping person until he wakes up, the child until he reaches puberty, and the insane person until he regains sanity.
