Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that whenever the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was given a choice between two matters, he would choose the easier of the two. Except for the limits set by Allah, he never took revenge for any excess committed against him by anyone, and he would not forgive anyone who transgressed the limits of Allah.
