Hadith 782
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ هَاشِمٍ ، ثنا وَكِيعٌ ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " هَذِهِ وَهَذِهِ سَوَاءٌ ، وَجَمَعَ بَيْنَ إِبْهَامِهِ وَخِنْصَرِهِ " يَعْنِي فِي الدِّيَةِ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with both of them) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) joined the thumb and the little finger together and said: The blood money (diyah) for both of them is equal.
