Hadith 764
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو يَحْيَى مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْعَطَّارُ ، وَابْنُ الْمُقْرِئِ ، قَالا : ثنا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا ، قَالَتْ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لا يَحِلُّ لامْرَأَةٍ تُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الآخِرِ أَنْ تُحِدَّ عَلَى مَيِّتٍ فَوْقَ ثَلاثِ لَيَالٍ " وَقَالَ الْعَطَّارُ ، أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ .
Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: It is not permissible for a woman who believes in Allah and the Last Day to mourn for any deceased person for more than three days.
