Hadith 754
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى ، قَالَ : ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ ، قَالَ : ثنا مَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ ، عَنْ نَافِعِ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا ، أَنَّ رَجُلا لاعَنَ امْرَأَتَهُ وَانْتَفَى مِنْ وَلَدِهَا ، " فَفَرَّقَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَيْنَهُمَا ، وَأَلْحَقَ الْوَلَدَ بِالْمَرْأَةِ " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) also narrates that a man invoked li'an against his wife and denied the child (saying that this child is not mine), so the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) separated the two and gave the child to the woman.
