Hadith 745
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْحَكَمِ ، أَنَّ ابْنَ وَهْبٍ ، أَخْبَرَهُمْ قَالَ : أَنِي ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ ، وَعَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ ، عَنْ بُكَيْرِ بْنِ الأَشَجِّ ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ يَسَارٍ ، أَنَّ رَجُلا مِنْ بَنِي زُرَيْقٍ يُقَالُ لَهُ : سَلَمَةُ بْنُ صَخْرٍ ، فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ نَحْوَهُ عَلَى اخْتِصَارٍ ، وَقَالَ فِي آخِرِهِ : قَالَ : فَأُتِيَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِتَمْرٍ فَأَعْطَانِي إِيَّاهُ ، وَهُوَ قَرِيبٌ مِنْ خَمْسَةَ عَشَرَ صَاعًا ، فَقَالَ : تَصَدَّقْ بِهَذَا ، قَالَ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ عَلَى أَفْقَرَ مِنِّي وَمِنْ أَهْلِي ؟ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : كُلْهُ أَنْتَ وَأَهْلُكَ .
Sulaiman bin Yasar (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates that a man from Banu Zuraiq, whose name was Salamah bin Sakhr, narrated the following in a shortened form: At the end, he says: Dates were brought to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), which were about fifteen saa‘. He said: Give them as charity. He said: O Messenger of Allah! Should I give charity to those who are poorer than me and my family? The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: You and your family eat them yourselves.
