Hadith 712
أَخْبَرَنَا الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ، أَنَّ ابْنَ وَهْبٍ ، حَدَّثَهُمْ ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ يَعْنِي ابْنَ بِلالٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ حَبِيبٍ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عَطَاءَ بْنَ أَبِي رَبَاحٍ ، يَقُولُ : أَنِي يُوسُفُ بْنُ مَاهَكَ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " ثَلاثٌ جِدُّهُنَّ جِدٌّ وَهَزْلُهُنَّ جِدٌّ : النِّكَاحُ ، وَالطَّلاقُ ، وَالرَّجْعَةُ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: There are three matters which, whether done intentionally or in jest, become effective: 1. Marriage, 2. Divorce, 3. Taking back (one’s wife after divorce).
