Hadith 702
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ الأَحْمَسِيُّ ، قَالَ : ثنا وَكِيعٌ ، عَنْ إِسْرَائِيلَ ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ ، عَنْ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لا نِكَاحَ إِلا بِوَلِيٍّ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Musa Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: There is no marriage without the permission of a guardian.
