Hadith 697
حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ الْمُقْرِئِ ، قَالَ : ثنا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنِ الحَسَنِ ، وَعَبْدِ اللَّهِ ابني محمد ، قَالَ : وَكَانَ الْحَسَنُ أَوْثَقَهُمَا ، عَنْ أَبِيهِمَا ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " نَهَى عَنْ نِكَاحِ الْمُتْعَةِ ، وَعَنْ لُحُومِ الْحُمُرِ الأَهْلِيَّةِ زَمَنَ خَيْبَرَ " ، وَكَانَ سُفْيَانُ ، يَقُولُ : كَانَ الْحَسَنُ خَيْرَهُمَا ، قَالَ ابْنُ الْمُقْرِئِ : وَحَدَّثَنَا بِهِ سُفْيَانُ مَرَّةً أُخْرَى ، فَذَكَرَهُ ، وَقَالَ : عَنْ أَبِيهُمَا ، سَمِعَ عَليًّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، يَقُولُ لابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ : أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى عَنْ نِكَاحِ المُتْعَةِ ، وَعَنْ لُحُم الحُمْر وَالأهْلِية .
Hasan and Abdullah narrate from their father Muhammad bin Ali bin Hanafiyyah (may Allah have mercy on him) that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade temporary marriage (Nikah Mut'ah) and the meat of domestic donkeys at the time of the Battle of Khaybar. Sufyan used to say: Hasan was better than both of them. Ibn Maqri says: Once Sufyan narrated this same tradition to us, and mentioned that Muhammad bin Hanafiyyah (may Allah have mercy on him) heard from Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him), who was narrating from Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with both of them): The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade temporary marriage (Nikah Mut'ah) and the meat of domestic donkeys.
