Hadith 696
حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ الْمُقْرِئِ ، وَعَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ بِشْرٍ ، قَالا : ثنا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ عَمْرٍو ، عَنْ أَبِي الشَّعْثَاءِ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا ، قَالَ : " تَزَوَّجَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَيْمُونَةَ وَهُوَ مُحْرِمٌ " فَأَخْبَرْتُ بِهِ الزُّهْرِيَّ ، فَقَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي يَزِيدُ بْنُ الأَصَمِّ وَهِيَ خَالَتُهُ " أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ تَزَوَّجَهَا وَهُوَ حَلالٌ وَهِيَ حَلالٌ " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) married Lady Maymunah (may Allah be pleased with her) while he was in the state of ihram. Amr says: I related this to Imam Zuhri (may Allah have mercy on him), so he said: Yazid bin Asam informed me that when the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) married her, neither he nor she was in the state of ihram. Lady Maymunah (may Allah be pleased with her) is the maternal aunt of Yazid bin Asam.
