Hadith 688
حَدَّثَنَا حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى ، قَالَ : ثنا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ ، قَالَ : أنا يَحْيَى ، أَنَّ عَمْرَةَ ابْنَةَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، أَخْبَرَتْهُ أَنَّهَا سَمِعَتْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا ، تَقُولُ : " نزل فِي الْقُرْآنِ عَشْرُ رَضَعَاتٍ مَعْلُومَاتٍ ، وَهِيَ تُرِيدُ مَا يُحْرَمُ مِنَ الرَّضَاعِ " ، قَالَتْ عَمْرَةُ : ثُمَّ ذَكَرَتْ عَائِشَةُ ، قَالَتْ : نزل بَعْدُ خَمْس .
Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that in the Qur'an, the command of prohibition through suckling was revealed for ten complete sucklings. Umrah says that Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) used to say: Later, the command was revealed for five sucklings.
