Hadith 681
حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحُ بْنُ الْفَرَجِ مَوْلَى مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَابِقٍ ، قَالَ : ثنا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ حَنَّادٍ الْحَلَبِيُّ ، قَالَ : ثنا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الرَّقِّيُّ ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَبِي أُنَيْسَةَ ، عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ الْبَرَاءِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ : لَقِيتُ عَمِّي رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ وَقَدِ اعْتَقَدَ رَايَةً ، فَقُلْتُ : أَيْنَ تُرِيدُ ؟ فَقَالَ : بَعَثَنِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَى رَجُلٍ نَكَحَ امْرَأَةَ أَبِيهِ أَنْ أَضْرِبَ عُنُقَهُ وَآخُذَ مَالَهُ " .
Sayyiduna Bara’ (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that I met my uncle, and he was holding a flag. I asked him: Where are you intending to go? He said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) has sent me to behead (kill) a man and seize his wealth because he has married his father’s wife.
