Hadith 676
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ ، قَالَ : ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، قَالَ : أنا مَعْمَرٌ ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، أَنَّ الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنَ شُعْبَةَ خَطَبَ امْرَأَةً ، فَقَالَ لَهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " اذْهَبْ فَانْظُرْ إِلَيْهَا ، فَإِنَّهُ أَدْوَمُ لِمَا بَيْنَكُمَا " .
Sayyiduna Mughirah bin Shu’bah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that he sent a marriage proposal to a woman, so the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Go and look at her, for this will create more affection between you.
