Hadith 640
حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ الْمُقْرِئِ ، قَالَ : ثنا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ عَتِيقٍ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " وَضَعَ الْجَوَائِحَ " .
Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with both of them) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) commanded to pardon calamities. (That is, if something is destroyed due to a calamity, its price should not be taken.)
