Hadith 631
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَوْفٍ الْحِمْصِيُّ ، قَالَ : ثنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ الْخَبَايِرِيِّ ، قَالَ : ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عَيَّاشٍ ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ عُقْبَةَ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " أَيُّمَا رَجُلٌ بَاعَ سِلْعَةً فَأَدْرَكَ سِلْعَتَهُ بِعَيْنِهَا عِنْدَ رَجُلٍ أَفْلَسَ وَلَمْ يَقْبِضْ مِنْ ثَمَنِهَا شَيْئًا فَهِيَ لَهُ ، فَإِنْ كَانَ قَضَاهُ مِنْ ثَمَنِهَا شَيْئًا فَمَا بَقِيَ فَهُوَ أُسْوَةُ الْغُرَمَاءِ " .
Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever sold some goods (on credit) and then found his goods with a person who has become insolvent, and he has not received any of its price, then the goods will belong to him. But if he has received some amount from the buyer, then for the remaining price he will be like the rest of the creditors."
