Hadith 628

حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ آدَمَ ، قَالَ : ثنا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " مَنْ بَاعَ نَخْلا قَدْ أَبَرَ ، فَثَمَرَتُهَا لِلَّذِي بَاعَهَا ، إِلا أَنْ يَشْتَرِطَ الْمُبْتَاعُ " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever sells a grafted date-palm tree, the seller is entitled to its fruit, unless the buyer stipulates a condition."
