Hadith 597

حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الزَّعْفَرَانِيُّ ، قَالَ : ثنا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ ، عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ الأَعْرَجِ ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ عَتِيقٍ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " نَهَى عَنْ بَيْعِ الثَّمَرِ سِنِينَ " .
Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade the sale of fruits for several years.
