Hadith 560
حَدَّثَنَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ مُوسَى ، قَالَ : ثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ ، عَنِ الأَعْرَجِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " إِذَا أُتْبِعَ أَحَدُكُمْ عَلَى مَلِيٍّ فَلْيَتْبَعْ وَالظُّلْمُ مَطْلُ الْغَنِيِّ " .
Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "If a debt is referred to a wealthy person, then he should accept it. Delaying repayment by a wealthy person is injustice."
