Al-Muntaqa Ibn al-Jarud

Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) had performed the Zuhr prayer at the end of the day, he performed the Tawaf al-Ifadah, then returned to Mina and spent the nights of Tashreeq there. When the sun would decline, he would throw seven pebbles at each Jamrah, saying Takbeer with each pebble. He would stand for a long time at the first and second Jamrah, showing humility and supplication, then he would throw pebbles at the third Jamrah and would not stand there.
