Hadith 488
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى ، قَالَ : ثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، قَالَ : أَنَا مَعْمَرٌ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ عِيسَى بْنِ طَلْحَةَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا ، قَالَ : رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى نَاقَتِهِ بِمِنًى فَجَاءَ رَجُلٌ ، فَقَالَ : " يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، إِنِّي كُنْتُ أَظُنُّ الْحَلْقَ قَبْلَ النَّحْرِ ، فَحَلَقْتُ قَبْلَ أَنْ أَنْحَرَ ، قَالَ : انْحَرْ وَلا حَرَجَ " ، قَالَ : وَجَاءَهُ آخَرُ ، فَقَالَ : " يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، إِنِّي كُنْتُ أَظُنُّ الْحَلْقَ قَبْلَ الرَّمْيِ ، فَحَلَقْتُ قَبْلَ أَنْ أَرْمِيَ ، قَالَ : ارْمِ وَلا حَرَجَ " ، قَالَ : فَمَا سُئِلَ يَوْمَئِذٍ عَنْ شَيْءٍ قَدَّمَهُ رَجُلٌ وَأَخَّرَهُ ، إِلا قَالَ : " افْعَلْ وَلا حَرَجَ " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) in Mina riding a she-camel. A man came and said: O Messenger of Allah! I thought that shaving the head should be done before the sacrifice, so I shaved my head before the sacrifice. Is there any harm in that? He said: «اب قربانی کر لو، کوئی حرج نہیں۔» Another man came and said: O Messenger of Allah! I thought that shaving the head should be done before throwing the pebbles, so I shaved my head before throwing the pebbles. Is there any harm in that? He said: «اب کنکریاں مار لو، کوئی حرج نہیں۔» On that day, regarding whatever matter you were asked about in which someone had done something earlier or later, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: «کر لو، کوئی حرج نہیں۔»
