Hadith 486
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى ، قَالَ : ثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، قَالَ : أَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ نَافِعِ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " أَفَاضَ يَوْمَ النَّحْرِ ثُمَّ رَجَعَ فَصَلَّى الظُّهْرَ بِمِنًى " ، قَالَ نَافِعٌ : فَكَانَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا يُفِيضُ يَوْمَ النَّحْرِ ثُمَّ يَرْجِعُ فَيُصَلِّي الظُّهْرَ بِمِنًى ، وَيُذْكَرُ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَعَلَهُ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) performed the Tawaf al-Ifadah on the Day of Sacrifice, then returned and offered the Zuhr prayer in Mina. Nafi’ says that Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) would also perform the Tawaf al-Ifadah on the Day of Sacrifice, then return and offer the Zuhr prayer in Mina, and he would say that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had done likewise.
