Hadith 484
حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ شُعَيْبٍ النَّيْسَابُورِيُّ ، قَالَ : ثَنَا وَهْبُ بْنُ جَرِيرٍ ، قَالَ : أَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ حَسَّانَ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " لَمَّا حَلَقَ رَأْسَهُ ، قَالَ بِشِقِّ رَأْسِهِ الأَيْمَنِ فَأَعْطَاهُ أَبَا طَلْحَةَ ، ثُمَّ حَلَقَ شَقَّ رَأْسِهِ الأَيْسَرِ فَقَسَمَهُ بَيْنَ النَّاسِ " .
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) had his head shaved, he gave the hair from the right side of his head to Sayyiduna Abu Talhah (may Allah be pleased with him), then he had the hair from the left side of his head shaved and distributed it among the people.
