Hadith 474
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ خَشْرَمٍ ، قَالَ : أَنَا عِيسَى ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا ، يَقُولُ : " كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَرْمِي يَوْمَ النَّحْرِ ضَحًى ، وَأَمَّا بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ فَبَعْدَ زَوَالِ الشَّمْسِ " .
Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with both of them) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) would throw the pebbles on the day of sacrifice at the forenoon, and on the following days he would throw the pebbles after the sun had declined.
