Hadith 466
حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ الْمُقْرِئِ ، قَالَ : ثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا ، قَالَتْ : خَرَجْنَا لا نَنْوِي إِلا الْحَجَّ ، فَلَمَّا كُنَّا بِسَرِفٍ حِضْتُ فَدَخَلَ عَلَيَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَنَا أَبْكِي ، فَقَالَ : " أَحِضْتِ ؟ قُلْتُ : نَعَمْ ، فَقَالَ : إِنَّ هَذَا شَيْءٌ كَتَبَهُ اللَّهُ عَلَى بَنَاتِ آدَمَ فَاقْضِي مَا يَقْضِي الْمُحْرِمُ غَيْرَ أَنْ لا تَطُوفِي بِالْبَيْتِ " .
Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that we set out with the intention of performing only Hajj. When we reached Sarif, I began menstruating. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) came to me and I was crying. He asked: Have you started menstruating? I said: Yes. He said: This is something Allah has decreed for the daughters of Adam (women). Do everything that a pilgrim does, except that you should not perform the circumambulation (Tawaf) of the House of Allah.
