Hadith 462
حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّوْرَقِيُّ ، قَالَ : ثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ ، عَنْ مَالِكِ ابْنِ أَنَسٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي الأَسْوَدِ ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ زَيْنَبَ بِنْتِ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا ، أَنَّهَا قَدِمَتْ وَهِيَ مَرِيضَةٌ فَذَكَرَتْ ذَلِكَ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَقَالَ : " طُوفِي مِنْ وَرَاءِ النَّاسِ وَأَنْتِ رَاكِبَةٌ " . قَالَتْ : " وَسَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ عِنْدَ الْكَعْبَةِ وَهُوَ يَقْرَأُ بِالطُّورِ " .
Sayyida Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that when she came to Makkah, she was ill. She mentioned this to the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), so he said: "Perform Tawaf riding, behind the people." Sayyida Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) says: I heard the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) reciting Surah At-Tur near the Ka'bah.
