Hadith 440
حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ الْمُقْرِئِ ، وَابْنُ هَاشِمٍ ، قَالا : ثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " خَمْسٌ مِنَ الدَّوَابِّ لا جُنَاحَ فِي قَتْلِهِنَّ عَلَى مَنْ قَتَلَهُنَّ فِي الْحَرَمِ وَالإِحْرَامِ ، وَقَالَ ابْنُ هَاشِمٍ : فِي الْحِلِّ وَالْحَرَمِ : " الْفَأْرَةُ ، وَالْحِدَأَةُ ، وَالْغُرَابُ ، وَالْعَقْرَبُ ، وَالْكَلْبُ الْعَقُورُ " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: There are five animals whose killing incurs no sin, whether the killer is in the Haram or in the state of Ihram: (1) the mouse, (2) the kite, (3) the crow, (4) the scorpion, (5) the biting dog. In Ibn Hashim’s narration, the words "in the sacred and non-sacred area" are mentioned.
