Hadith 431
حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الزَّعْفَرَانِيُّ ، قَالَ : ثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ ، قَالَ : ثَنَا حُمَيْدٌ الطَّوِيلُ ، عَنْ بَكْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : ذَكَرْتُ لابْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا ، أَنْ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " أَهَلَّ بِعُمْرَةٍ وَحَجٍّ ، فَقَالَ : وَهَلَ أَنَسٌ رَحِمَهُ اللَّهُ إِنَّمَا أَهَلَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِالْحَجِّ وَأَهْلَلْنَا بِهِ مَعَهُ " .
Bakr bin Abdullah says that I mentioned to Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) that Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) told us that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) assumed ihram for both Hajj and Umrah. He said: May Allah have mercy on Anas, he has forgotten; the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) assumed ihram only for Hajj, and we also assumed ihram for Hajj with him.
