Hadith 425
حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الزَّعْفَرَانِيُّ ، قَالَ : ثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عُلَيَّةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي التَّيَّاحِ ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " بَعَثَ بِثَمَانَ عَشْرَةَ بَدَنَةً مَعَ رَجُلٍ ، فَأَمَرَهُ فِيهَا بِأَمْرِهِ ، فَانْطَلَقَ ثُمَّ رَجَعَ إِلَيْهِ ، فَقَالَ : أَرَأَيْتَ إِنْ أُزْحِفَ عَلَيَّ مِنْهَا شَيْءٌ ؟ قَالَ : " انْحَرْهَا ثُمَّ اصْبُغْ نَعْلَهَا فِي دَمِهَا ثُمَّ اجْعَلْهَا عَلَى صَفْحَتِهَا وَلا تَأْكُلْ مِنْهَا أَنْتَ وَلا أَحَدٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ رِفْقَتِهَا " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) sent eighteen sacrificial camels with a man and gave him instructions regarding them. The man returned and asked: If any of them becomes weak, what is the ruling? The Prophet said: Slaughter it, then dye its collar with its blood and place it on its side, and neither you nor any of your companions should eat from it.
